Daniel Ortiz
First licensed in life insurance over four decades ago, Daniel has represented several insurance companies offering life, group, and individual health insurance. Daniel provided his clients with homeowner, auto, and commercial insurance coverage through his independently owned property and casualty insurance agency.
After taking time off to care for his three daughters following the untimely passing of his wife, Marisol, in 2003, Daniel was drawn to the Medicare field in 2009 due to its humane aspects. He has since helped nearly three thousand clients with their Medicare needs while guiding them through Medicaid, Low Income Subsidy (LIS), State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs (SPAP), and other government programs.
Whereas the majority of insurance policies deal with material property or financial protections, consulting Medicare clients offers the ability to provide fulfilling service on a uniquely human level. Whether it is a simple search for a suitable plan meeting current needs, or aiding in finding providers, care, and assistance in critical times, there’s no better satisfaction than being able to make a difference in someone’s life.
Daniel has since remarried and lives in New Jersey with his wife Olga, a pre-k school teacher. Daniel enjoys reading, cooking, entertaining, and spending quality time with his extended family and seven grandchildren.
